Told by the doctors who treated them, without identifying details. Every story here is either shared with written consent, or told so that nobody could recognise the patient.
We will not publish a patient's story until we have their written consent on file, and none has been collected yet. When one is, it will be told by the doctor who treated them and stripped of anything identifying. We would rather have an empty page than a story someone did not agree to. Video is the same rule with more at stake: a recording carries a face and a voice, so nothing is filmed, and nothing is published, without a signature.
Video, once someone chooses to record one
A recording shows a face and carries a voice, so it needs more consent than a written story, not less. When a patient decides to record one, it will play here — on our own page, with captions and a written transcript.

This is where video will sit. Nobody has recorded one, so there is nothing to play. We have not put a stand-in here either — a video slot filled with a stranger's face is exactly the thing this page exists to avoid.
